Mark Roberts

Environmental Resources Project Supervisor

Miami-Dade County – Air Quality Management Division,

Environmental Resources Management

My name is Mark Roberts and I am with Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management, Air Quality Management Division. I have been with the department for approximately sixteen (16) years and specializing in Air Quality Programs and Enforcement issues. I describe myself as somewhat as a ‘professional student’, who is always seeking to learn something new, as I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Sciences, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and another degree in the Medical Sciences as well. Currently, I’m in charge of several grants that we receive and administer, a member of the SEDC, a partner in the Clean Cities Coalition and currently working on several projects pertaining to Miami-Dade County’s sustainability issues and vehicular conversions to alternate forms of fuel sources. We partner with other departments to educate and encourage them on investing in new technology and that the investment in such technology will lead to greater savings, energy reductions, and positive health effects and reduce our carbon footprint.
